Cookie Policy
Last updated: 22 August 2026 · DRICOMM LTD
This Cookie Policy explains how DRICOMM LTD uses cookies and similar local storage technologies on SignalsHunt (signalshunt.com). It applies together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as whether you are logged in or your display preferences. Alongside traditional cookies, we also use localStorage — a browser storage mechanism that works similarly but stores data locally on your device without expiry unless cleared.
2. How We Use Cookies and Local Storage
We use cookies and localStorage for the following purposes:
Strictly Necessary — Authentication
These are set automatically when you log in. Without them, the Service cannot function.
| Name / Key | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Supabase | Stores your authentication session so you stay logged in | Cookie | Session / up to 7 days |
sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | Supabase | PKCE flow security token for OAuth authentication | Cookie | Session |
Strictly Necessary — Theme Preference
Stored in localStorage when you click the theme toggle. This is set only in response to your direct action and is not sent to our servers.
| Key | Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sh-theme | localStorage | Remembers your light/dark theme preference so it persists across visits | Until cleared |
Functional — Optional Preferences
These are stored in localStorage and used to improve your experience. They are set only when you take an action (running a search or clicking a promo link). You can opt out of these via our cookie consent settings.
| Key | Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sh-last-niche | localStorage | Pre-fills the niche field with your last search to save time | Until cleared |
sh-pending-promo | localStorage | Temporarily stores a promotional code from the URL so it can be applied at checkout | Until applied or cleared |
3. What We Do Not Use
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies
- We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising/tracking platform
- We do not share cookie data with advertisers or data brokers
- We do not use analytics scripts of any kind
- We do not use fingerprinting or cross-site tracking technologies
4. Third-Party Cookies
Supabase
Supabase sets authentication cookies that are strictly necessary for the Service to function. These cookies are governed by Supabase's own privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy.
Stripe
If you visit the checkout flow, Stripe may set cookies on their hosted payment pages to prevent fraud and process your payment securely. This only occurs during the payment process. Stripe's cookie policy: stripe.com/privacy.
5. Your Cookie Choices
Browser settings
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Here are guides for common browsers:
Please note: disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from logging in to SignalsHunt.
Clearing localStorage
To clear localStorage preferences (theme, last niche), open your browser's developer tools, go to Application → Local Storage → signalshunt.com, and delete the relevant keys, or use your browser's "Clear site data" option in Settings.
6. Your Consent Preferences
When you first visit SignalsHunt, a cookie consent panel appears. You can choose to:
- Accept all — enables all cookie categories listed above
- Accept necessary only — enables only strictly necessary cookies; optional functional localStorage items will not be stored
- Customize — opens a detailed panel where you can toggle each category individually
Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key sh-cookie-consent. You can change your preferences at any time by clearing your site data or by contacting us.
7. UK GDPR and Cookie Law
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR:
- Strictly necessary cookies (authentication) do not require your consent as they are essential for the Service to work
- Functional preferences (theme, last niche) are stored in localStorage, not transmitted to our servers, and are set only in response to your own actions — they do not require prior consent under PECR
- We do not use any cookies that require an opt-in consent banner
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we change the technologies we use. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email.
